You should open a new e-mail account and use it only for survey correspondence . You won't want it cluttered up with spam and stuff . I like Gmail, and you can have more than one Gmail account ,so I have one used only for my surveys.

If you also plan on joining "paid to click" programs, you should use a seperate email account for those programs !

Be sure to add your new e-mail address to your PayPal account, if you don't have a PayPal account you should open one. A lot of survey companies prefer to pay you that way.

Start signing up. Sign up with ALL the legitimate survey companies on the free list I am giving you. NOTE: there may be some you will not qualify for (if you are not a mother you cannot join "Mothers Know Best")

Keep a list (in alphabetical order) of all the companies you sign up with. This way you can check in the future before you sign up with a new company to make sure your not already a member.

Keep a list of all your earnings, winnings, and merchandise that you receive from survey companies. Remember anything over $599 is reported to the IRS, so you'll need records of your survey earnings. And it is nice to be able to tell friends how much you have made by taking surveys.

IMPORTANT SURVEY TAKING HINTS TAKE YOUR TIME . Survey companies and their clients want honest answers to their survey questions . This is very important to them . And if they feel you have not read the questions and answered thoughtfully , they will discard your survey and not pay you for it . They DO know how long it takes you to fill out a survey ! I recently got an e-mail from a survey company, and they warned me that I had been taking some surveys too quickly and better slow down . I think that I may read faster than some people, and sometimes you just know what the next question will be and what the answer is . At the beginning of every survey they will tell you how long it should take you, try to keep it around that time and answer truthfully . After all these surveys help companies make products the way we want them.
Do not attempt to sign up with more than one account with a survey company . Most companies say only one account per household, a few say different members may have separate accounts.
Do not attempt to take one particular survey more than once from the same company, (note) You will find that all these survey companies work together . Company "A", may send out company "B's" surveys, so you may take a survey from one company, then later you receive that same survey, but it came from a different survey company. in this case I believe it is OK to take that survey again.
